Manifesto
Rimba started with one question: why are Indonesia's rare plants better known abroad than in their home country?

Monstera, alocasia, anthurium — many originate from the forests of Sumatra and Kalimantan, then travel the world through Dutch auctions and are sold back to us at five times the price. We are not a campaign movement. We simply believe a shorter chain is a fairer one: growers here, readers here, buyers here.
Three things we hold onto
- Curation, not crowd. Our catalog is deliberately small: every store is verified, every product is reviewed by a person before listing.
- Story first, cart second. Our blog is free and will stay free. If a story makes you want to plant something, good. If not, just read.
- Honest numbers. Prices in whole Rupiah, commission visible in the order breakdown, and sellers see the same deductions you do.
We call ourselves a botanical blog that happens to have a marketplace — not a marketplace that happens to have a blog. The order matters.
